Meet Bowie a 7 years old with a dedicated heart of gold. He might be an older
weim
but he will play fetch with you like a puppy!
He shows signs of training: he knows sit, down, and if you present open palms he will drop the ball in your hand. Bowie also takes treats as if it were a delicate flower, so anyone can give him a treat without fear.
He hates being alone and doesn't do well in a crate, also gets nervous in the car, so an ideal candidate would be someone who can have the patience to show him that car rides can mean fun!
The good news is that he is super social and good with other dogs.
The ideal home for Bowie would be a family (he loves children), a home with multiple pets (no cats), and an environment where he can feel free to roam around the house. Bowie will be your best buddy and stick by your side forever.

Our rescue Weimaraners are current on all vaccinations and heartworm preventative. They are spayed or neutered, and micro-chipped. The adoption donation is $300.00 for adult Weimaraners, $350.00 for puppies, who are old enough to have been spayed/neutered, $450 for puppies who are not old enough to be spayed/neutered, $100 refundable deposit included and $250.00 for seniors.
